Monterey Jet Center ("we," "us" or "our"), a subsidiary of Monterey Fuel Company, is a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) that provides aviation services, such as fuel, parking and hangar space, to the General Aviation (GA) community.

Your data privacy rights are important to us.  We have implemented a data privacy program that acknowledges these rights and safeguards the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the personal information we process. Furthermore, we have fully integrated data privacy and security considerations into our business operations.

II. Scope of this Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice applies to the personal information Monterey Fuel Company collects about you through websites, applications, social media, software, and other services provided by or on behalf of the Monterey Fuel Company. When you use or interact with the Services, you expressly consent to our collection, use, disclosure and retention of your information as described in this Privacy Notice.

This Privacy Notice covers the disclosures that are required by General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended and expanded by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA) ("Data Privacy Laws") governing our processing of personal and sensitive personal information.

This Privacy Notice does not cover the practices of companies we do not own or control or people we do not manage and this Privacy Notice does not apply to any third-party sites, such as the Flightbridge reservation system, or social media sites that may link to or be accessible from our Site.

We do not use automated monitoring or profiling for Site visitors. We do not collect sensitive information automatically, and we do not make automated decisions based on your personal information.

What Information Do Our Websites Collect for Interest-Based Advertising?

We do not use cookies or web beacons for the purpose of advertising. However, our site does provide links to partner sites or service providers that may do so.

We have not sold any personal information to third parties for commercial purposes or monetary value, however we do disclose personal information for internal business purposes or operational purposes of our business (servicing, quality improvement, fraud detection, security, legal).

We share Personal Information with the following categories of recipients for the following business purposes:

  1. Third-party Service Providers: Your Personal Information will only be shared with and processed by our affiliates and non-affiliated third-party service providers as permitted by law and for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice such as to provide us with services such as Site hosting, including information technology and telephony services, and related infrastructure, customer service, e-mail delivery, auditing, and other similar services.

Corporate Subsidiaries and Affiliates: We share the collected personal information as described in this notice with our subsidiaries and affiliated businesses within Monterey Fuel Company, each of which use your personal information consistent with this Privacy Notice.  Those businesses may also use your personal information for each of their own purposes, including marketing purposes.

Business Partners.  Where permitted by law, with our third-party business partners, such as companies offering products or services of interest to you, advertising partners and other third parties for those third parties' own commercial or marketing purposes, such as to serve targeted advertisements.
  4. Business Transfers: When applicable, we may share your information in connection with a substantial corporate transaction, such as the sale of a Site, a merger, consolidation, asset sale, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy.

We may require additional information to verify the agent's identity and prevent fraud or security breaches.
